Victory for Women and Children of Domestic Violence

The Inter-American Commission on Human Rights took a huge step toward protecting women and children from domestic violence.

Today was a day spent reaching out to those that filed an amicus brief on Jessica Lanahan's behalf. Taylor's case is one that has documented evidence of judicial and police corruption that should make bringing her abusers and the facilitators of her abuse to justice. Today is truly a great day!

IACHR has heard Taylor's Pleas

Taylor's case has been assigned a case number for human rights violations. They are in receipt of all supporting documentation that establishes Taylor's allegations of abuse and the reported police corruption. This will assist with putting Taylor closer to realizing justice and those responsible for whats happened to her closer to realizing jail time. They win and we along with Taylor loose if we choose to remain silent, lets continue to be Taylor's voice

TELEPHONE CAMPAIGN

With the fact that we seem to generating some momentum in drawing attention to this travesty we want to continue it. Along with those on Facebook we are starting a telephone campaign to Virginias' senators Warner and Webb to support the petition sent to the Department of Justice. That petition calls for Taylor's immediate removal from her allegedly abusive environment along with an investigation into the police corruption surrounding her allegations of abuse. Documents supporting reasons for Taylor's immediate removal have been provided to the DOJ. After many years of fighting for Taylor we have finally found an organization that is looking into Taylor's human rights having been violated. It is our hope that those responsible for the corruption that has facilitated her abuse as well as her abusers will be exposed. Exposing their corruption means freedom and justice for Taylor.

When you have exercised all the legal avenues open to you do not quit there is still another way without taking the law into your own hands.
